Maxim Allotment

People raking the maxim allotment ground

We love keeping it local, healthy, and fresh here at Maxim. Last year we developed some unused land on the perimeter of the park to make way for a community Allotment. The simple concept derived from the need to create an outdoor working space, to help develop and deliver our sustainability and biodiversity projects.

The Allotment is a great place to learn and get involved in some fabulous outdoor biodiversity activities, workshops, and events.

Already producing seasonal vegetables; our retailers Piece and Regis use our fresh vegetables in their ingredients to make some delicious soups and other dishes. The Allotment has: six planters | compost recycle bins | water butts | bug hotels and in 2023 we will be introducing all sorts of work shops and activities for all you green fingered enthusiast to get involved in.
