Making 'appy' connections at Maxim

Maxim Park is helping people to make all the right connections after teaming up with an exciting new app that links the rapidly growing community of remote workers to host venues.

The new SWURF work surfing platform has been created by founder Nikki Gibson and is rapidly gaining traction as the traditional 9-5 working day changes and more of us work remotely in the face of the pandemic and look for a better work/life balance.

Nikki and her team are developing a strong network of hospitality contacts across central Scotland while also on the lookout for amazing new venues for SWURFERS to browse, book and use as workspaces as and when the need arises.

Now, two Maxim Park based businesses – onsite coffee shops Piece and Regis, managed by Hayley and Hannah respectively – are the latest to connect to the app network to accommodate remote workers looking for welcoming venues.

They will shortly be joined by the park itself which will be promoting the app to its tenants and the wider community in 2022, while SWURF is set to reciprocate, showcasing the Enduro fit gym and electric chargers among a host of other facilities at the park via its app in the coming months.

Ruth Anderson, events and sustainability manager at Maxim Park, said connecting with the app will be a great move: “It offers an exciting, dynamic platform to showcase the park as a great place to work and do business. We have some of the best quality workspace in the region with terrific facilities and amenities; so very much look forward to welcoming more remote workers in 2022 to experience the Maxim Park difference.”

Nikki Gibson added: “It’s great having Maxim Park onboard. SWURF is all about connecting remote workers with friendly, happy, kind, homely and flexible workspaces – and Maxim Park ticks all the boxes. It’s going to be a fantastic partnership as we move forward in the new year with everyone set to benefit.”
