Our Green Policy

Despite our very black and yellow appearance, Maxim is pretty green. After all, there’s no point in having an office park without the ‘park’ bit. And no, we don’t mean little ponds and plants filling vacant voids.

As part of our approach to building a green, sustainable office park, we’ve implemented the following green features:

  • Buildings are all rated BREEAM 'Excellent' or 'Very Good'
  • Energy Performance Certificates, Level 'B'
  • Drying rooms and shower rooms
  • High performance glazing
  • Wherever possible, we have sourced all our building materials locally
  • Increased glazing areas to the north elevations of all of our buildings
  • 240m long "Brise Soleil" to the South Elevations of Buildings 4 and 5
  • Cycle stands located throughout the park
  • Sustainable Urban Drainage System (SUDS)
  • Dedicated recycling areas
  • Parkland areas to promote increased biodiversity
  • Comprehensive green transport plan
  • Recycling of rainwater from the roofs
