MAXIM Office Park continues to attract new business Scottish Labour Leader Iain Gray said that MAXIM Office Park is leading the way in attracting new business to Scotland, drawing interest from companies across the UK as well as new entrants to the Scottish market. Mr Gray visited MAXIM, the largest office park under construction in the UK which is expected to offer up to 8000 jobs when fully occupied and is due for completion in 2010.

MAXIM is focussed on creating a new business destination in Scotland, strategically located at Eurocentral between Edinburgh and Glasgow. Already a number of retailers have signed up including childcare operator Prime Time Nurseries who will manage a state-of-the-art onsite childcare facility, successful food retail franchise, Baguette Express and one of Scotland's leading Italian restaurant groups, Massimo Restaurants. The first 3 of the 10 office buildings are completing this month.

Commenting on his visit to MAXIM Scottish Labour Leader Iain Gray MSP said:

"It is a real boost to the economy in Lanarkshire and Glasgow to have Scotland's newest office park situated here especially when it is expected to offer up to 8000 jobs. Maxim is a prime example of the new Scottish economy of the 21st century and the direction which we have to head in as is indicated that the area is already the chosen location for a number of blue-chip organisations."

Welcoming the Mr Gray to Eurocentral, Maxim chief executive, Karen Campbell, said:

"I am delighted that Iain Gray could visit Scotland's newest office park which firmly puts Scotland on the map as a place to do business. MAXIM is determined to capitalise on its role in promoting business and enterprise initiatives from both Scotland and abroad. "We are ready to play a valuable role in encouraging inward investment by attracting leading national and international companies to the park and allowing them to enjoy the highest quality buildings, facilities and infrastructure within Scotland's newest office park. "There is a clear vision of what Maxim will deliver on final completion in 2010 - a best in class office park environment offering a better way of working."
