Eurocentral development gets MAXIM seal of approval
AN OFFICE park development based in North Lanarkshire which could create around 8,000 jobs in the area has received the seal of approval from politicians. The arrival of MAXIM at Eurocentral, which is the largest office park development in Scotland, was welcomed by Bellshill and Hamilton MSP Michael McMahon, Glasgow Ballieston MSP Margaret Curran and Scottish Labour leader Iain Gray.
The three prominent political figures took a tour of the £330 million, 756,000 sq ft speculatively built office park which is due to be completed early next year. At present, there is already a Prime Time Nurseries and Baguette Express at the site with more businesses expected to be added to that in the coming months. Karen Campbell, chief executive of MAXIM, said:
"MAXIM office park is likely to be the largest single phase speculative built office park in the UK for many years, and it is right in the heart of North Lanarkshire. "We are creating a new business destination offering competitive rental packages enticing new business into the local area and boosting the local economy."
